Technical gear for climbing and rappelling in Ausangate

Camping Gear

• 4-season tent.
• Insulating sleeping pad.
• Sleeping bag -20°C.
• High-altitude stove.
• Utensils (plates, cup, utensils).
• Medium-sized pots.

Personal Clothing

• Base layer: snug, thermal, and synthetic.
• Second layer: fleece, Polartec, down.
• Third layer: waterproof (must be IMPERMEABLE, not just windproof or water repellent).
• Warm gloves.

• UV 400 protective sunglasses (category 3 or 4).
