The expedition begins at 4:30 a.m. with hotel pickup to head towards the community of Pacchanta via the Cusco-Puerto Maldonado highway. We will pass through several towns before reaching Cuyuni, where the majestic Vilcanota mountain range comes into view. Upon arrival in Pacchanta, we will enjoy breakfast at the lodge and then prepare logistically for the mountain climb.
We will start the ascent towards the circuit of the 7 Lakes of Ausangate, exploring them and continuing until we reach the base camp of Jampa. From this point, numerous mountains such as Caracol, Pucapunta, Tinke, Mariposa, and the imposing Ausangate can be seen. We will enjoy lunch and have the afternoon free to visit the Red Lagoon.

The much-awaited day begins with an early breakfast at 3:30 a.m., filled with enthusiasm and energy. We prepare to start the ascent at 4:00 a.m., challenging the altitude as we head towards the glacier. We will progress across the glacier until reaching an area where the rocky slope reaches 50 degrees over about 60 meters, leading us to the summit. We estimate reaching the summit between 6:40 and 7:00 a.m. Once there, we will enjoy the moment before beginning the descent back to base camp.
After descending, we will stop at base camp for lunch at 11:00 a.m. before continuing our descent towards Pacchanta. After lunch, you will have the option to relax in the thermal waters of Pacchanta or return directly to Cusco, with an estimated arrival at 6:00 p.m
